On July 27, 1999, Konami released the first "Dancing Stage" title of the Dance Dance Revolution series in Japan called Dancing Stage featuring True Kiss Destination.

While the Dancing Stage moniker has been the alternative name for the Dance Dance Revolution series in the European region, a handful of DDR games in Japan also feature this title.

The Dancing Stage games in Japan all deviate away from the main DDR series of games, and in True Kiss Destination, it featured a themed set of music by the Japanese group of the same name as well as original music from Konami's in house artists.

"Precious Moments" is a song by True Kiss Destination. The song is a cover of "When Will I See You Again" by The Three Degrees.

Other versionsEdit

On December 9, 1999 Konami released the game on the Sony PlayStation. It was part of their "Dance Simulation" series of titles for the PlayStation.

ReceptionEdit

On release, Famitsu magazine scored the PlayStation version of the game a 30 out of 40.[2]
